I made this antenna due to limited area condition in my flat.
I wasn’t expect too much of shorten antenna for HF frequencies, but surprised very positively.
Antenna consists of two PCV tubes (I do not recommend grey sewage pipe, becouse it can contains metal admixture in its structure) and transformer. Both tubes have length of 1,5m each. Horizontal distance between them is 1m.
Transformer is coiled based on Valery’s (UR5WCA) instruction with Amidon T200-2.
Antenna receives very strong local stations on 80m (it operates with high angle).
You can use transmit power up to 300W (I was using 100W). Antenna doesn’t require antenna tuner on 80m & 40m(SWR 1.2 – 1.7). It can be necessary with higher bands.
